Shiloh Live

Welcome to the official Shiloh website! Things have been ramping up nicely for us again lately–seeing us return in a more full-force fashion after working on other projects for a while. Increased touring, releases and overall fun has been going on the last while and we appreciate all the support. Many of you from every corner of the planet have been supporting us heavily for close to a decade now and this is a great privilege for us. If we haven’t yet been to where you live on tour we promise we’ll do our best to get there one day soon. In the meantime you can stay up with our latest info right here.

We have been more prolific than ever these past weeks. This week we’ve finished 2 new originals and we’re very excited about both. “Auto Banana” pays tribute to a blast way from the past (in name anyway) for those old-timers in the scene and “Backwards”, to us, represents what’s fresh at the moment in progressive house. Release info and label is pending on both and you can listen to clips in this site’s player.

You can read the article on the 365Mag site here or continue on to read the reposted transcript:

Shiloh other wise known as Colin Moreh & Justin Moreh are a production duo from Vancouver. They also happened to be brothers. The fact that they have been somewhat quiet lately has sparked some rumors that they were breaking up. We reached Shiloh for clarification on the incident as well as information on what they are working on lately.

Where do you believe the recent rumors of Shiloh’s breaking up originated?

A recent hard drive failure meant the loss of most of Shiloh’s video documentation spanning the last 8 years. This prompted the creation of a YouTube channel which means fun for you and protection for us even when future hard drives decide to kick the bucket. If you have any Shiloh videos please contact us as we hope to build this up once again for posterity.

I feel compelled to speak a bit about Michael Jackson and about the once removed connection that we have to him. If you’re looking for juicy or gossipy tidbits look to the tabloids. That’s not what we’re about. Instead this is a small and narrow insight into this great performer’s life through the eyes of one of our closest friends.

Basically, one of our oldest and closest friends (our families are actually friends too) is best friends with one of Michael Jackson’s closest relatives. When I say “closest relatives” it’s no small thing as Michael had almost no family members that he had been close too. This family member of Michael Jackson actually lives with our friends family as I write this. I will keep both our friend’s name and the Jackson that we’re talking about anonymous as it’s the right thing to do.

We’ve been busy in the studio the last 2 weeks and have finished 3 brand new originals. “All That” will be out on Lowbit Records and “Landmine Hopscotch” on Proton Music both later this year. We also are in the process of signing “Chords” with a label in the next few days as well so look for an announcement there. Remixers are TBA for these.

We’re really focusing on originals again and it feels great.
